Welcome to the Vault RPG store!
This table-top Role Playing Game is designed to combine relatable near-future cyberpunk elements with the mysterious and heroic nature of fantasy. One night you might be working out the details of a bullet train heist and the next hunting down a cult of blood mages.
Players will find fun and flavorful ways to invest in their characters and improve them often. The system is focused on giving players agency both in and out of combat. Game Masters will have tools to keep the focus on their story, run gritty fast-paced fights, and present challenges that force players to think on their feet.

Hello, Mercs!
We’ve returned from our Fae-like exile! Now we are working furiously towards completing the stretch goals you all earned as well as Preparing the Vault Rulebook for our future Beta Read. If you are interested, send us a message on our social media platforms or our KS account, and we’ll be reaching out to that list.
Team Rex Games is also preparing our Backerkit pledge Manager and preorder store.
Backerkit Fulfillment
We are excited to work with Backerkit for fulfillment! Backerkit is a third-party software designed for pledge management. We’ll be using Backerkit to get your shipping information, allow you to get more add-ons if you want them, deliver PDF rewards, and manage your pledges!
Backerkit surveys will be sent to everyone via the email address used on their Kickstarter account. These surveys will be sent in waves, so don’t panic if you don’t get it right away. We'll be submitting it to review with Backerkit soon, and we’ll do a smoke test with a small number of backers before it goes out to everyone. You should see it by the start of next week!
You MUST complete your Backerkit survey to get your rewards. The survey will allow you to enter your shipping address, add any add-ons, and upgrade your pledge. If you do not fill out your survey, we cannot ship your pledge.
If you haven’t received your survey by the end of April or run into any issues navigating Backerkit, please email us at [email protected], and we’ll be happy to help you out. Do not DM us on this Kickstarter page or social media, please email us directly for these issues so we can be sure to resolve them quickly.
Failed Pledges
If you backed the Kickstarter and your pledge failed, you will still get a Backerkit survey and the opportunity to fix your dropped pledge.
Late Pledges
Late pledges will still be available until the end of August. We are keeping them open as long as we can to ensure those who missed out can get the game!

Add-On Survey
We'll be sending out a survey link via Kickstarter and our other platforms to see what items folks have the most interest in for add-ons during the pledge manager. We don't want to crowd the store with options people aren't interested in. So take a moment and let us know what options are on your wish lists.

We’re at the end of the Vault RPG campaign, we have a bunch of work ahead of us as we move into beta read prep and the development of the stretch goals!

Next Steps
Our team will be taking some downtime to regroup after surging through our wild Kickstarter! We’ll be “off-mission” as we recover for about a week or so.
Then we’ll dive into the work of creating our beta-read version, arranging production, finishing writing, editing, layout and last minute playtests. As we make progress, we’ll share with you here all we’re working on so you can see the game as it develops.
To ensure we keep you up to date without overwhelming you with updates, we’ll be posting one update a month. These updates will fill you in on our progress, show you what we’re currently working on, and give you new play materials as we go.
Wrap-Up and Debrief
